We are Hiit Fitness and Boot Camp: Lansing's #1 HIIT/Bootcamp studio with classes that motivate, encourage and push you! . We specialize in 30-minute weight loss bootcamps that challenge the body and deliver results in a positive, supportive atmosphere.

What We Do

Our signature Bootcamp workouts combine High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with Active Rest Training to produce 30 minute workouts that burn twice the calories in half the time and keep the metabolism running at a higher rate for up to 36 hours post workout.

Compare our 30-minute sessions to other fitness classes, which typically last 45 minutes to an hour. With our Bootcamp workouts, you don’t need to choose between results and convenience -- you can have both!

Research shows that shorter, more intense fitness classes (HIIT) and workouts that activate one set of muscles while others rest (Active Rest) lead to faster and more sustainable weight loss. It turns out, what’s best for your schedule is also best for your health.

HIIT/Bootcamp

Our signature Bootcamp formula combines two research-backed training methods for the most effective and sustainable weight loss we’ve ever encountered. Those two methods are High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Active Rest Training. 


HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT) KEEPS METABOLISM HIGH, EVEN DURING YOUR POST-WORKOUT.
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) uses short bursts of activity to spike the metabolism and keep it running at an accelerated rate for up to 36 hours after the workout. That means the body burns extra calories even during sleep! As an added bonus, this keeps every boot camp workout dynamic and engaging the whole way through. Those short 30 minutes will fly by even faster than you think because your mind and body are constantly stimulated by something new.  HIIT is ideal for weight loss because it focuses on charging up the metabolism and increasing lean muscle. Since lean muscle burns 250% of the calories as stored fat, that added muscle helps the body transform into a fat-torching furnace! And with the higher metabolism, the body burns more fat and enjoys higher energy levels throughout the day.

ACTIVE REST TRAINING SAVES TIME AND BURNS MORE CALORIES!!!
Active Rest Training fills in the gaps between exercises with exercises targeting different muscles. This keeps the heart rate high while still giving the muscles time to rest and recover. Studies show that Active Rest Training during workouts results in faster post-workout recovery. It also enables you to leap into your day full of energy and come back to boot camp the next day ready to go! Most importantly, Active Rest Training burns more calories in the same amount of time. This is because Active Rest keeps challenging the body and keeps the heart rate high throughout the whole boot camp workout.

What To Expect

“Bootcamp” style fitness classes are increasingly popular, but not all bootcamps are created equal. When comparing fitness classes, the most important thing to look for is a track record of real people getting real results. At Hiit Fitness and Bootcamp, our fitness classes are not “classes” in the traditional sense, but results-driven, high-energy sessions focused on weight loss and body toning.


WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR FIRST WORKOUT
For your first Hiit Fitness and Bootcamp workout, please wear appropriate fitness attire along with comfortable athletic shoes. Beyond that, all you need to bring is a water bottle, a small hand towel, and a positive attitude! You do NOT need to bring any equipment of your own. Our workouts require little equipment and everything you need is already onsite.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR FIRST WORKOUT
Unlike traditional personal training, the support we provide at Hiit Fitness and Bootcamp doesn’t stop just because you’re back home. We recognize that your diet and lifestyle are just as important as exercise for achieving the results you seek. That’s why our fitness coaches will follow up with you that very first day to help you get the best rest and recovery before you come in for the next session. They’ll also be there to answer any questions you may have about our program. In fact, our coaches will ALWAYS be there to provide motivation, accountability, and guidance -- whether you just finished session #1 or session number #100! They’ll even follow up to make sure you’re okay if you miss a session or two. We know sometimes life gets in the way, and we know also that consistency is the most important factor in achieving your health and fitness goals. The important part is to remember you’re never alone on this journey -- you’ve got a fitness family ready to help you stay on track!

Our fitness coaches are experts at creating weight loss results and keeping you safe and motivated both on the floor and off the floor. They don’t stop at correcting form and demonstrating exercises -- they get to know you. They learn your unique strengths, challenges, goals, and desires. They help tailor YOUR fitness classes to your own lifestyle and needs. Even when you leave bootcamp, they’re available through email and Facebook to provide healthy tips and inspiration. Our fitness coaches strive to make every bootcamp session the best 30 minutes of your day -- and they also recognize that the other 23 ½ hours of your day still count! That’s why they’ll even check in outside of bootcamp to help you stay on track with your diet and healthy lifestyle.

PERSONAL TRAINING AVAILABLE

Bootcamp is for Everyone!

The best part about HIIT and our Active Rest Training is that they work for any fitness level. Plus, our certified personal trainers, or as we like to call them, fitness coaches, will check your form every step of the way to make sure you’re getting the maximum benefit of each exercise. They’ll even modify exercises for you if you come in with a prior injury. Our goal is to make sure you’re safe, happy, and making progress with every second of every bootcamp workout!

1-ON-1 CARE AND ATTENTION FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST
Let’s be real: 1-on-1 personal training is simply too expensive for most people to stick with long-term. Yet, the best results come from the personal care and attention that only a true fitness coach can provide. So, what’s the solution? The solution is built right into our bootcamp workouts! In our small sessions, we typically have 10-20 attendees with 1-2 fitness coaches present. This allows you to split the cost of 1-on-1 training for dramatic savings -- and you still get the same attention and care you need to reach your health and fitness goals. Not only that -- from day one you’ll be plugged into our supportive community of like-minded individuals. Even outside of your bootcamp workouts, you’re only one click, one text, or one call away from getting the motivation and tips you need to stay on track with your fitness journey.

LOW RISK, HIGH REWARD TRAINING ADDRESSES AND PREVENTS INJURIES
Have you had an injury in the past that affects your mobility or strength? Or are you concerned about injuries in general while working out? Rest assured, we’ve thought of everything! If you have an existing injury, our friendly fitness coaches can easily modify any bootcamp workout to make sure you still get the calorie burn and weight loss results you’re looking for. And we program ALL our workouts to be “Low Risk, High Reward.” There are plenty of high-risk exercises that athletes, bodybuilders, and weight lifters are willing to use in their training that simply aren’t necessary for weight loss. Because your goal is to lose fat and tone your muscles, we keep the exercises simple and safe so you can workout with confidence and peace of mind!
